The Oregon Dunes; wind-sculpted sand dunes which tower 500 feet above sea level, therefore, providing numerous recreational opportunities. Opportunities include sand boarding, all-terrain vehicles, and horses. Vacant Pacific Ocean beaches and family fun are enjoyed at this Northwest location.

Because the Oregon dunes stretch 40 miles along the Oregon coastline they provide year-round outdoor fun! From Heceta Head, north of Florence, to Cape Arago, just south of Coos Bay. Because this complex dune area is roughly 40,000 acres it covers the largest area of any dune system on the West Coast of North America.

Water Sports? No problem… there are over 30 lakes and ponds, and numerous streams to choose from. Because you can enjoy sailing, canoeing, water-skiing, swimming, scuba diving and fishing in this area is an outdoor adventurer’s dream.

If you love to go hiking, many trails wind through flourishing forests rich with Douglas Fir and Sitka Spruce. Therefore, some trails wind around through the dunes, offering hikers a chance to experience the natural wonder that makes this area unique, while others are clear and easy paths for a leisurely stroll.
