2020 National Heavy Duty Truck Rally!
Join us in this episode where we head out to the 2020 National HDT Rally in Hutchinson, Kansas. We had an awesome time meeting new friends and getting all the HDTs and Smart cars together for a group photo. You won’t believe how many different HDT configurations were on hand.
If you are at all interested in the HDT lifestyle we encourage you to attend an HDT Rally. We had an amazing time and hope to see some of you there next year.
That’s a lot of Heavy Duty Trucks (HDT)
The mission of the HDT Rally is to share information about the issues of obtaining, owning, and using an HDT (Heavy Duty Truck) as a 5th wheel RV hauler. We learned so much from attending this rally.
We are already registered for the 2021 HTD Rally that will be held in Hutchison, Kansas October 10 – 16, 2021. I have heard that the 2020 Rally was the biggest one yet!
The Campground at the Kansas State fairgrounds was so nice! Full hookups, long spacious sites, and right in town with everything you need.
Safety on the Road
We have said that the MAIN reason for us going to an HDT is SAFTEY!
When hauling a huge 5th wheel RV you have to be safe on the road. These RVs are heavy and hard to stop. You cannot stop on a dime, you have to take care and stop safely and the HDT allows us to do just that.
