2020 Quartzsite Meetup | RV Living
Join us in this episode as we recap our 2020 meetup in Quartzsite, AZ with Suite Travels and Papa Drew’s RV. We had such a great time meeting new friends and reconnecting with those we’ve met on the road. Some of them we even met last year in Quartzsite.
If you weren’t able to make it, we sincerely hope to get to meet up with you one day on the road. So, sit back and enjoy the recap, it was truly a great meetup.
One thing we wished we’d done was to take MORE pictures with people who came to hang out with us. This just means we were enjoying the moment but we always kick ourselves later for not having more photos with the people we meet. NEXT year for sure! 🙂
Come as Strangers, Leave as Friends….
Thank you to everyone that came out for the pot luck. We had over 70 people come and hang out. Our hearts are so full and we are so grateful. Thank you! It was nice to meet you all. Many stories were told around the campfire and friendships were made.
Why? Why Meetup with Strangers?
We have developed deep relationships with people on social media but meeting them in person is so much more fun! It is nice to formally meet those you have had contact with behind the screen.
We often get asked why we live the way we do and why we sold everything. Why would we do this? We are going into year three and still love this #rvlifestyle.
One of the BIGGEST reasons for us is the people we meet. We found this FUN picture taken by Lisa on Aaron’s cell phone, while she was was taking the photo below for us. These guys are amazing and, well we would have probably never met them living in our sticks and bricks house.
The picture below is pretty special to us. Eula and Ron came all the way from Dallas, Texas to camp with us here in Quartzsite, Arizona. Wow, we were blown away that they traveled all that way just to hang with us.
Ron and Eula, we met last fall in Yellowstone and they are the sweetest. ❤ It was really nice to be able to get to know them and we hope to see them again this summer.
We met Kellie and Jim of Suite Travels at Glacier National Park last fall on our way back from Alaska and have become close friends. We finally met Drew of Papa Drew’s RV in person at our meetup and he has become a close friend, as well. Drew is also someone we corresponded with for a long time on Social Media so it was nice to finally meet.
We would of probably never met most of these folks otherwise. We are so blessed to have these wonderful friends. ❤ We have met countless other awesome friends out here on the road.
